Worship

Dear Church Family & Visitors,

Good Shepherd OPC has re-opened for morning worship beginning at 11AM. Through the month of May, we will continue to upload the Order of Worship and provide online giving for those who are ill or highly at-risk. The sermon will be available for listening by 12:15pm under the “Sermons” page rather than hyperlinked below.
For those joining us for public worship, please be encouraged, we have implemented several safety measures in preparation. Please note, nursery service and coffee/tea have been suspended through May. We have hand sanitizer available and encourage those wanting to wear a face mask to please do so.

ORDER OF WORSHIP

The Lord’s Day, May 3rd, 2020

For Meditation

A Psalm of David. I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will make music. 2 I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house; 3 I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. 4 A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil. (Psalm 101:1-4)

 Silent Confession of Sin

Corporate Confession of Sin

Lord, we know that you are gracious and merciful. But you are also a righteous God who will by no means clear anyone who remains with his guilt. So, let Jesus Christ be our righteousness, holiness, and redemption according to your own provision for sinners. Let us be the objects of your redeeming love. You are the only one who can declare us righteous despite our sin. Let us possess Christ, and be found in him not having any righteousness of our own, but only the righteousness that comes through faith in him. By this faith we receive his atonement for our sin. Amen.
