Here are your Good Shepherd OPC announcements for January 29 - February 4, 2018.
The Lord’s Day (February 4)
There are two adult classes running for six weeks.
The first is the “Inquirer’s Class” for all non-communicant adults and covenant children interested in church/communicant membership. This week the topic is, “What is Presbyterian Government?”
The second class is a video lecture, “The Upper Room Discourses” with Rev. Dr. Sinclair Ferguson of Ligonier Ministries.
The children have a class that uses Great Commission Publications curriculum.
Hebrews 9:15-28, “Fellowship and Purification”
Join us for our fellowship meal following the morning worship. Our food theme is Soup and Salad, so please bring one or both to share or a side that fits the theme. All are welcome.
Romans 7:14-25, “An Inner Conflict”
Join us for Sunday evening worship at 2:00 pm.
Join us for the Wednesday evening Bible study this week. We resume our study of the third commandment.
The Deacons request that all who are able help assemble the remaining new chairs come to the church tonight (January 30) from 7-9 pm. If you have a power screwdriver or small drill, please bring it.
The church, and especially the Deacons, thank all who came to paint move furniture, and assemble chairs. Your hard work and dedication is appreciated.
Pastor Chris is teaching an Inquirer’s Class for the next five weeks during Sunday school. All covenant children and non-member adults are invited to attend. Each student will receive a book for attending the class. If you’re interested in communicant membership, please make every effort to join the class.
The next fellowship lunch is Sunday, February 4 after the morning worship service. Our food theme is Soup and Salad (Soup or Bowl of Salad!). Evening worship will be at 2:00 pm.
