The OPC Short-Term Outreach, Relief, and Missions (S.T.O.R.M) is looking for skilled and unskilled volunteers to help in Houston (Hurricane Harvey) and Key West, FL (Hurricane Irma). Although the help is urgent, they predict that help will be needed for 1-2 years. If you volunteer, you bear all travel and food costs, but housing is available. The Bible study is each Wednesday at 7 pm. We begin a new study on the Ten Commandments called Walking in a Worthy Manner. Our goal is to go deep into each commandment seeking to apply it to our lives today. I hope you’ll join us for our Bible study.
The Presbytery of Ohio will meet on October 20-21 at Calvary OPC in Harrisville PA.
Westside Reformed Church invites you to “The Protestant Reformation, 500 Years: 1517-2017.” On Friday evening, October 27, Mr. Chuck Fry will speak on the topics “How Luther’s Good News Changed the World” (6:30 pm) and “Why Luther’s Good News Is Needed Today” (7:30 pm). You can find these lectures at 3011 Harrison Ave. Cincinnati OH 45211. There is no cost or registration.
Join us as we meet at Redeemer OPC for a joint Reformation Day Service on Sunday evening, October 29 at 5:30PM. The address is 22 South Fairfield Rd. Dayton 45440. There will be refreshments afterwards and we are asked to bring something to share.

Our next fellowship lunch is on Sunday, November 5 after the morning worship service. Our food theme is soup and salad. Please bring one or the other to share.
Join us November 5 for the last installment of our church revitalization series, From Embers to a Flame. We’ll watch two topics - “The Leadership Dynamic” and “Small Groups.”
The OPC Thank Offering will be on Sunday, November 19. This year the theme is “Delighting in the Lord” (Psalm 37:4). We’ll begin passing out the bulletin inserts explaining the offering on October 22. The offering supports the work of the OPC - Home Missions, Foreign Missions, and Christian Education.
Look for a formal announcement soon. In the mean time, mark your calendar for Sunday, December 3 as the date of our annual stated congregational meeting. It will follow our fellowship lunch and you will have an opportunity to hear the state of the church and review the proposed budget. There is also a time for questions and comments.
