The Lord’s Day (April 3)
This week, the class will watch a video lecture from Stephen J. Nichols. Sola Gratia: Ulrich Zwingli & the Rediscovery of Grace: Most religious convictions in popular culture boil down to some activity or practice on the part of the individual to better their circumstances or perspective on life. Regardless of the manifestation of the principle, it all simmers down to this fact: mankind continually looks internally for solutions that he can only find externally. In the sixteenth century, the Roman Catholic Church rested under this misapprehension. It had created a system of merit integral for salvation and incumbent upon works. The weight of these demands crushed Christians throughout Europe.
There are two children’s classes which use Great Commission Publications curriculum.
The Rev. Leo Frailey will preach using Psalm 45:6-7 and Hebrews 1:1-9, with the sermon title being “The Exaltation of King Jesus.”
The evening worship service is at 2 pm with Mr. Alex Eppstein preaching from John 8:12-20, entitled, “The Light of the World.”
Join us for prayer each Wednesday evening from 7-8 pm. Please send Pastor Chris any requests that you would like us to pray for.
