The Lord’s Day (August 21)
Developing Christian Character, a twelve week video series featuring Dr. R. C. Sproul. This week is Lecture # 11: “Meekness and Self-Control.” From the Ligonier website: “When you hear the word meekness, what thoughts enter your mind? Do think of weakness for instance? Or perhaps you imagine someone who is shy or timid. Our modern culture has little use for this Biblical virtue. It runs contrary to our age where an individualistic, survival-of-the-fittest type mentality is so prevalent. To find out what the Bible has to say about meekness as a fruit of the Spirit, in this lecture Dr. R.C. Sproul speaks on meekness and self-control.”
The Inquirer’s Class is for all visitors who would like to learn about the church and non-communicant members and others who would like to become members. This week’s topic: Inquiring about Church Membership at Good Shepherd OPC.
