Here are your Good Shepherd OPC announcements and worship helps for the week of May 29 – June 4, 2017.
If you have a prayer request, please forward it to Pastor Chris to be included in the congregational prayer on Sunday morning or evening.
The Lord’s Day (June 4)
We bring our study on sanctification: War of a Lifetime to an end.
The children have a class that uses Great Commission Publications curriculum.
Acts 27:1-12, "A Journey of Another Kind"
Romans 1:16-17, “The Righteousness From God Revealed”
Join us for evening worship at 6 pm. We continue our study of Romans tonight and we have a time for discussion after worship.
The Bible Study is Wednesdays at 7 pm. We are studying what is sometimes considered the silent Person of the Trinity - the Holy Spirit, using a Puritan Paperback abridged version of John Owen’s The Holy Spirit. This book has been abridged and modernized for grammar and language so as to make it “easy to read.”
The Session meets on June 1 at 6:30 pm.
The next fellowship lunch is Sunday, June 11 after the morning service. This is a change from our regular schedule so that we may have a final fellowship meal with the Eppsteins. Alex will preach for us this Lord’s Day.
Following our fellowship meal, we’ll watch the fifth session of the From Embers to a Flame Conference: Strategy 4, “Personal Spiritual Formation”.
