The Lord’s Day (May 15)
We continue our study of Westminster Confession of Faith, chapter 2, Of God and Of the Holy Trinity. Our aim is to examine several of God’s communicable attributes listed in paragraph 1.
There are two children’s classes which use Great Commission Publications curriculum.
We conclude Acts 7 with the culminating event – Stephen’s martyrdom. Our text is Acts 7:54-60, “A Witness Dies.”
Mr. Alex Eppstein continues his series on Jesus’s “I AM” sayings in the Gospel of John.
Join us for prayer each Wednesday from 7-8 pm. Please send any requests to Pastor Chris and we will pray for them.
The women will meet Friday, May 20 for study and fellowship. Currently they are studying Jerry Bridges’ book, The Practice of Godliness. Read chapter 2. All women are invited to join them.
To help the Crandalls ready their house for sale, we will have a work day at their house on Saturday, May 14 beginning at 9 am. Call the church for directions should you need them.
We will join Redeemer OPC in Beavercreek for a joint service on May 29 at 5:30 pm with refreshments following the service.
The General Assembly is the governing body of the whole church and the highest court of appeal in judicial matters. It consists of approximately 150 voting commissioners, including the moderator and stated clerk of the previous assembly and ministers and ruling elders commissioned by their presbyteries. The 83rd GA is called to meet at Sandy Cove Conference Center, North East, Maryland, from June 8–14, 2016.
OPC Missionary Dinner and Presentation Redeemer OPC will be hosting the Richline family (missionaries to Uruguay) on Saturday July 9th for a fellowship dinner and presentation. For the meal at 5:00 pm, please bring a dish (hot or cold) to share. At 6:00 pm, we will hear Mark Richline present on the Lord’s work in building the church in Uruguay.
