The Lord’s Day (May 8)
We continue our study of Westminster Confession of Faith, chapter 2, Of God and Of the Holy Trinity. Our aim is to examine several of God’s communicable attributes listed in paragraph 1.
There are two children’s classes which use Great Commission Publications curriculum.
In our study in Acts we come to the third section of Stephen’s speech. Our text is Acts 7:44-53, “Resisting the Holy Spirit.”
Let us take some time to go deeper into our understanding and practice of prayer. We’ll look at Matthew 6:9, “Hallowed Be Thy Name.”
Join us for prayer each Wednesday from 7-8 pm. Please send any requests to Pastor Chris and we will pray for them.
The women will meet Friday, May 13 for study and fellowship. Currently they are studying Jerry Bridges’ book, The Practice of Godliness. Read chapter 2. All women are invited to join them.
We will join Redeemer OPC in Beavercreek for a joint service on May 29 at 5:30 pm with refreshments following the service.
The General Assembly is the governing body of the whole church and the highest court of appeal in judicial matters. It consists of approximately 150 voting commissioners, including the moderator and stated clerk of the previous assembly and ministers and ruling elders commissioned by their presbyteries. The 83nd GA is called to meet at Sandy Cove Conference Center, North East, Maryland, from June 8–14, 2016.
