The Lord’s Day (October 9)
For many Christians, doctrine is a severed entity. We tend to compartmentalize our thoughts on God, man, salvation, and last things. However, these doctrinal points are related and joined. In our class, The Promise of the Future, we are studying last things (eschatology), but we are studying with a view toward integration. Our complete salvation is tied to what happens at the end. Please join us this week as we study individual eschatology.
There are two classes for the children. Both us Great Commission Publications curriculum.
Acts 14:1-7, “A City Divided”
Matthew 6:25-34, “A Christian’s Living: Seeking God’s Kingdom”
Our evening worship is at 6:00 pm. We have Q & A after the sermon.
Join us for Bible Study each Wednesday at 7 pm at the church. Our study is through the Old Testament books of Judges and Ruth. Invite a friend.
The Session has called a congregational meeting for Sunday, October 9 following the morning service. We are asking that all regular attendees and members make every effort to attend this brief meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the congregation about a ministry called Fanning the Flame and to discuss its usefulness for us. We will have a discussion with questions and answers in a Town Hall meeting during the October 23 Sunday School.
